Analytics

The app records every hotspot a shopper opens, so you can see which images and which products are actually pulling attention.

Analytics is included on every plan, including Free. There is no limit on how many clicks are tracked or how far back the history goes.

What Counts as a Click

A click is recorded when a shopper opens a hotspot — taps or clicks a pin and its product card appears.

Recorded with each click:

Nothing else. No customer identity, no IP address, no session or device information, no cookies. See the Privacy Policy.

Note: Clicks are only recorded for images that are actually live — published, and not locked by the Free plan.

The Analytics Page

Analytics in the app navigation gives you a store-wide view.

Overview tiles

Tile What it shows
Total clicks Every hotspot open across every image, all time
Total images How many shoppable images you have, plus how many have received at least one click
Total hotspots Every pin across every image
Avg. clicks per image Total clicks divided by total images

The “N with at least 1 click” figure under Total images is the one worth watching. An image with zero clicks is either not placed on a page shoppers reach, or has pins that are hard to notice.

Images by performance

A table of every image ranked by click count, so your best and worst performers are immediately visible. Click through to any image for its own breakdown.

Top hotspots

Your ten most-clicked individual hotspots across the whole store — the specific products shoppers keep tapping. Useful for deciding what to feature, restock, or push in a campaign.

Per-Image Analytics

Open any image and choose its analytics view for a focused breakdown:

Metric Meaning
Total hotspot clicks All clicks on this image
Active hotspots How many pins on this image have at least one click
Hotspot breakdown A row per pin: product, label, click count, and when it was last clicked

In the breakdown, a pin that has never been clicked shows Never in the Last clicked column. A cluster of Never rows usually means those pins are too small to notice, too close together on mobile, or sitting on a part of the image that gets cropped on narrow screens.

What Analytics Does Not Track

Being clear about the limits so you can read the numbers correctly:

Important Notes

Your own clicks count. Previewing your storefront and tapping your own pins records real clicks. Test on a live page and your numbers will include your own testing. Clicks made inside the Theme Editor preview are not tracked.

Deleting removes history. Deleting a hotspot deletes its click history. Deleting an image deletes the history for all of its hotspots. This cannot be undone — if you want a record, note the numbers down first.

Hiding does not remove history. Turning Published off, or having an image locked by the Free plan, stops new clicks from being recorded but keeps everything already collected. Republish and the history is still there.

Editing a hotspot keeps its history. Changing a hotspot’s label or swapping its product keeps the same hotspot, so its click count carries over. If you want a clean count for a new product, delete the pin and add a new one.
